At A.K. Rikk’s, we aim to make returns and exchanges effortless and accommodating, so you can shop with confidence. Whether you’ve shopped online or in-store, here’s everything you need to know.
Return & Exchange Window
You may return or exchange eligible items:

In-store purchases: Within 28 days of the purchase date

Online purchases: Within 28 days of the delivery date
A 5% restocking fee (plus tax) applies if the return is received after 14 days, based on the purchase or delivery date.
Restocking Fee

Returns received within 14 days: No restocking fee

Returns received after 14 days (within 28 days): 5% restocking fee (plus tax) applies

Exchanges: No restocking fee

Multiple sizes of the same item purchased in a single order: If returned, a restocking fee will apply

Free return shipping for all domestic orders

A prepaid return label is included in your original shipment for your convenience
Sale Items

30%–49% off: Eligible for store credit only; exchanges allowed

50% off or more: Final Sale — no returns, exchanges, or refunds
How to Return
By Mail

Use the included prepaid return label.

Complete the return/exchange form with your reason for return or requested exchange.

Drop the package off at your nearest UPS location.
In-Store
Bring the item(s) and completed return form to our Grand Rapids store at:

Local Pick-Up
We offer same-day return pick-up for local customers:

Free within a 15-mile radius

$20 fee for 15–25 miles

Our driver can wait while you try on your item(s) upon request
Exchange Process

Exchanges for a different size or color are free, subject to stock availability

Indicate your desired item on the return form and send it back using the prepaid label or return it in-store
Product Condition Guidelines
All returns must be new, unused, and include all original A.K. Rikk’s and designer tags. Items not meeting these conditions will be returned to the sender.
Apparel
Try on items carefully. All garments must have original tags attached.
Bags
Be cautious with light-colored bags and avoid contact with darker clothing that may transfer dye.
Shoes

Try on shoes indoors on a soft surface.

Include original tags, dust bags, and shoe box.

Ship the shoe box inside a secondary box.
Beauty Products

Skincare, haircare, and cosmetics: Must be unopened and unused in original packaging

Fragrances, nail polish, aerosols: Final Sale — not returnable due to shipping restrictions
Lingerie & Swimwear
Must be tried on over undergarments with the protective adhesive strip intact
Books & Limited Editions
Highly collectible items must be returned with all original packaging and protective covers intact
Refunds & Store Credit
Approved refunds are processed immediately upon receipt. Your bank may take 3–5 business days to post the refund.
Late Returns
Returns outside the 28-day window may be accepted at A.K. Rikk’s discretion and may be subject to additional terms.
Faulty Items
If your item is defective or not as described, please return it within 30 days of receipt for a refund or replacement. Damage due to wear, misuse, or accidents is not considered a fault.
Repeat Returns Policy
Our returns policy is designed to be flexible. However, excessive returns may result in future returns being declined or the closure of your A.K. Rikk’s account.
