L'Agence Spring '26: After Hours Style That Earns a Second Look

L'Agence Spring '26 is built for the moment the day breaks open into something else. We've pulled three pieces from the collection - a sequin skirt, a silk scarf top, and a black-and-white lace dress - that we keep reaching for when the dress code shifts from professional to personal. Each one rewards a second look, and each one was made for the kind of evening you don't plan in advance. Stop in for our After Hours with L'Agence event on May 8 and 9 to see them in person at A.K. Rikk's.

What is L'Agence?

L'Agence is a Los Angeles-based contemporary brand known for elevated essentials, expertly cut denim, and going-out pieces that read as refined rather than overdone. The line is built around the idea that a single statement piece should be able to carry a look from day to evening without changing the rest of the wardrobe.

We carry L'Agence year-round at A.K. Rikk's, and the Spring '26 collection is one of the strongest we've seen from the brand. Sequins, silk prints, and lace are the throughline — each piece designed for the soft pivot from 9-to-5 to after hours.

Why L'Agence Spring '26 Defines After Hours Dressing

Three pieces, three different versions of the same idea — that getting dressed for the night should feel as good as it looks. We spoke with Lori Foltz, Global Product Knowledge Director at L'Agence, and our own Director of Women's, Ilze Vizulis, and Women's Buyer and Stylist Blair Dame, about what makes each one work.

The Makena Sequin Pencil Skirt - A Statement With Substance

Lori Foltz has been with L'Agence for nearly a decade as a brand stylist and retail specialist, and she's already worn the Makena sequin pencil skirt more times than she can count. "A statement piece such as this really elevates just about anything you pair with it," she says. The skirt is white-hot, with twinkling sequins arranged in a floral pattern, but it isn't all glitz — there's a flexible elastic waistband and a fully lined construction that keeps it comfortable to wear and far less see-through than a typical sequin piece.

What makes Makena work is its versatility. Lori has dressed it up with a silk blouse for an event, then worn it the next day with sneakers and a white t-shirt. "In Texas I added a brown belt and some western boots and everyone was loving it." That's the after-hours test passed: you can dress it up, dress it down, and keep wearing it long past the night it was bought for.

The Driselle Scarf Top - A Postcard From Somewhere Better

The Driselle scarf top is Women's Buyer and Stylist Blair Dame's specialty — a vacation-inspired postcard print in vibrant pink tones with a gold-tone buckle accent at the shoulder. The silky finish and lighthearted personality make it the after-hours option that doesn't try too hard.

"It's fabulous on vacation, going out to dinner, or for brunch looks — it can work for a bridal shower and a wedding too," Blair says. Pair it with heels and white denim to let the color pop, or experiment with sneakers and shorts for an off-the-clock weekend feel.

"Everybody - 18, 35, or 50 years of age - can wear this, and it flows so nicely on the body." The print is also available in a t-shirt and a shirtdress at A.K. Rikk's, if you want to commit to it across more than one piece.

The Fenna Silk and Lace Dress — Cocktail Hour, Distilled

The Fenna dress is the after-hours dress. Crisp black and white, silk and lace, with a romantic contrast lace that starts at the bustier top and cascades down the skirt. "We were in awe when the Fenna dress came out on the model in the L'Agence showroom at market," says Ilze Vizulis, Director of Women's at A.K. Rikk's. "It's sexy, classy, and a beautiful option for a cocktail or formal event."

Lace is having a moment, and the Fenna is the version of that trend that reads sophisticated rather than costume. It rewards confidence — the kind that doesn't need to be loud. "This would look great styled with black heels and a sexy black bag like Valentino or Jacquemus," Ilze adds.

How to Style L'Agence Spring '26

Three pieces, four scenarios. Each combination is something we'd actually pull together on the floor at A.K. Rikk's.

Cocktail event: Fenna dress + black heels + a structured Valentino or Jacquemus bag. The dress does the work - keep accessories quiet.

After-work dinner: Makena sequin skirt + a soft silk blouse + a low heel or pointed flat. Sequins read evening; the silk blouse keeps it from tipping into costume.

Brunch or bridal shower: Driselle scarf top + white denim + a heeled sandal. The print is the moment - pair it with neutrals and let it lead.

Off-the-clock weekend: Driselle scarf top + tailored shorts + clean white sneakers. Same blouse, completely different read - proof that the right going-out piece works in daylight too.

We carry the full women's L'Agence range. These are the three pieces our team is reaching for from the Spring '26 collection - all available in-store and online.

L'Agence Makena Sequin Pencil Skirt - white sequins in a floral pattern over a fully lined, flexible-waistband construction. The statement piece you'll wear more than once.

L'Agence Driselle Scarf Top - pink postcard print with a gold-tone shoulder buckle. Silky, lighthearted, and somehow appropriate for everything from a bridal shower to a beach dinner.

L'Agence Fenna Silk and Lace Dress - black-and-white silk with cascading contrast lace from bustier to hem. The cocktail dress that reads sophisticated, not theatrical.

L'Agence Spring '26 FAQs

What is L'Agence known for?
L'Agence is a Los Angeles-based contemporary brand known for elevated essentials, expertly cut denim, and going-out pieces that bridge professional and evening wardrobes. The Spring '26 collection emphasizes statement fabrics — sequins, silk prints, and lace — across pieces designed for the after-hours pivot.

How does L'Agence sizing run?
L'Agence generally runs true to size for tops and dresses, with a slightly more tailored fit through the waist on skirts. The Makena sequin skirt's elastic waistband gives some flex, but if you're between sizes on the Fenna dress, we'd recommend sizing up for the bustier construction. Call or DM the store and our team will help you nail the fit.

Where can I shop L'Agence in West Michigan?

A.K. Rikk's carries L'Agence year-round at our Cascade location, and we stock the full Spring '26 collection both in-store and at akrikks.com. We're hosting an After Hours with L'Agence event on May 8 and 9 — RSVP to see the collection styled in person.

Are the Spring '26 sequin and lace pieces only for evening?

No. Lori Foltz, L'Agence's Global Product Knowledge Director, has worn the Makena skirt with sneakers and a t-shirt as easily as with a silk blouse for an event. The Driselle top works for brunch, weddings, and weekend dinners. The Fenna dress is the most evening-leaning of the three, but even it can be styled down with a leather jacket.

How should I care for L'Agence silk and sequin pieces?
Dry clean only for the Fenna dress and the Driselle silk top. The Makena sequin skirt should also be dry cleaned to protect the sequin work — never machine wash sequins, even on a delicate cycle. Hang or lay flat to store; avoid folding sequin pieces for long periods.
