Jennifer is a new, fresh face on the sales floor and she’s ready to assist clients in finding the best outfits to fit their lifestyle. What initially drew you to A.K. Rikk's?
I was drawn to the store’s culture and the exceptional, next-level customer service they provide.
What is your favorite part of working at A.K. Rikk's so far?
My favorite part of working at the store so far has been learning about all aspects of the company as well as gaining insight into the luxury brands they carry.
What have you learned this week?
I’ve learned about the level of detail that goes into creating an event experience for a client as well as gained deeper insight into the incredible Ralph Lauren through their brand representatives.
What is your favorite brand at A.K. Rikk’s?
It’s Ralph Lauren because of its clean, classic aesthetic.
Did you go to school for fashion/hold a degree or did you just come by it naturally?
I have a background in the beauty industry as a hairstylist. Fashion has always come naturally to me because I enjoy creating a complete look—from hair to toe.
When you're not at work, what could we find you doing?
When I’m not working, I’m probably at a coffee shop focused on my goals, out walking my dog downtown or on the hunt for hidden gems at thrift stores.
Would you rather have more time or more money?
More time, because the moments and memories I create with people I care about mean the most to me.
How do you blow off stress?
Honestly, nothing beats decompressing with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s after a long day.
What was your best vacation ever?
My best vacation was a trip to Hawaii with my friends. It was filled with beach days and hiking through the rainforest. Take me back!
Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration?
Sarah Jessica Parker is my fashion inspiration. I admire how she isn’t afraid to experiment with different styles.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Dishonesty. I appreciate people who are real and up-front.
Which celebrity’s life would you like to live for 24 hours?
Taylor Swift’s. It would be fun to see the behind the scenes of her life.
