Today, as a part of our Behind the Seams with A.K. Rikk's series, we would like to introduce you to Shipping and Receiving Specialist, Cullen Dame. Cullen is no stranger to the A.K. Rikk’s family as he’s the son of our Women’s Buyer and Personal Shopper, Blair Dame. Cullen will be taking control of shipping and receiving duties as well as a number of store functions–all with his trademark friendliness and smile.
What is your favorite part of working at A.K. Rikk's so far?
The vast amount of beautiful relationships I’ve gained from meeting new people including coworkers and clients.
What have you learned this week at work?
I’ve learned that regardless of the day, there is always change and whether it’s good or bad at the current time we know we will adapt to the situation and figure it out.
What is your favorite brand at A.K. Rikk’s?
Ksubi.
What’s your go-to, pump-up song?

When you're not at work, what could we find you doing?
Grilling with my dad, chillin’ with mom watching sports or hanging with a friend in town.
What’s the best thing your mom makes?
Peanut butter cookies or almond bars.
How do you blow off stress?
I blow off stress by getting manual labor done whether that be exercise, yard work or accomplishing a difficult task.
Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration?
I’ve always had a tremendous respect for Stone Islanders.
What would be your spirit animal?
My Spirit animal is a grizzly bear. Even through hibernation of a tough season, my personality pushes me through to the next with a reward in my line of sight. I can also be a big teddy bear.
What’s your favorite junk food?
Fried chicken.
What superhuman power would you choose?
One that would harmonize everyone in the room on the same frequency.
