Today, as a part of our Behind the Seams series, we would like to introduce you to our new Assistant Sales Manager, Brooke Park. She’s the go-to girl for making sure the sales floor is running smoothly. She creates the right environment to ensure our talented salespeople are supported and that their needs and the company’s goals are met.

What initially drew you to A.K. Rikk's? 

I've always been interested in the fashion industry. I feel like the store itself just has such an inviting energy that’s hard to ignore.

What have you learned this week at work? 

More like what haven't I learned!? I learned a lot about cashmere this week and where the finest cashmere is made.

Did you go to school for fashion or did you just come by it naturally? 

I wanted to! I was always drawing different designs as a kid. I even had a purple Bratz sewing machine that I'd use to make clothes for my stuffed animals.

What’s your pump-up song? 

Right now it's "Why" by Dominic Fike. It's just so catchy!

What was your best vacation ever? 

I love to travel. I don't know if I have a favorite. I was just recently in Colorado and hiked the Manitou Incline. A huge accomplishment!

Where have you always wanted to travel? 

I have always wanted to go to Italy or Greece. They're pretty much always a thought in the back of my head.

Which types of clothes do you collect? 

I honestly have so many pairs of pants, ranging from satin wide-leg pants to (mostly) cargo pants.

What is one of your guilty pleasures? 

Spending way too much money on concert tickets.

What’s your most prized possession? 

Honestly, my memories. It's not a tangible object but they are priceless.

Have you ever been told you look like someone famous, who was it? 
I've gotten Jenna Ortega a couple times.

You get to raid someone’s closet. Whose would it be? 
Harry Styles. I feel like that's self-explanatory.
