Sales Manager

DESCRIPTION

The role supervises the Personal Shoppers and is expected to improve their performance through development and coaching. In accordance with A.K. Rikk’s policies and standards, they will be involved in hiring and training a knowledgeable, professional, and talented sales staff. The role will also determine the best way to motivate their team and increase productivity. The sales manager must have excellent communication skills and be willing  and able to hold others accountable without bias. They must be detail oriented, committed to excellence, organized, and comfortable working independently, in addition to both giving and taking direction. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Supervise the Personal Shoppers and improve their performance through development and coaching

• Determine the best way to motivate their team and increase productivity

• Holding the sales team accountable for the sales floor KPI and turning in daily deliverables

• Be involved in hiring and training a knowledgeable, professional, and talented sales staff

• Serve as Policy Owner - hold others to policies without bias

• Ensure that Personal Shoppers are progressing according to tiered goal structure

• Act as subject matter expert to senior leadership on issues relating to the sales team

• Meet with key clients, assisting Personal Shoppers with maintaining relationships.

• Schedule for Personal Shoppers

• Collaborate with the Events Manager on event sales and attendance goals

• Schedule a weekly 1:1 with the AGM

• Attend all store events

• Strategize new client acquisition, pipeline review, and manage these tactics
