Every year, we host Runway For Charity, But this year we're stepping beyond the runway to confront one of society's biggest problems. You see, we're always looking to make an impact in West Michigan, but also in places far beyond our home. So this year, we're turning attention to the world's biggest health and social epidemic. It is our hope that one night will spark a conversation, then a movement, then meaningful change on a global stage. We're changing our event with bold vision in mind. We hope you'll be there when it's all revealed.

The Cause

We are partnering up with The Hope Network to fund early intervention initiatives for mental illness, better faster access to care, life-changing support, and much more. Untreated mental illness is the most underrated health and social epidemic worldwide. The numbers prove it.

  • One in five adults will face a mental illness this year
  • Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death between ages 10-34
  • Nearly 60% of mental illness goes untreated

The problem is all around us. The girl in the community who's contemplating suicide. The neighbor who is deep in depression but hides it so well. A troubled teenage boy who has access to a gun. A friend who appears they have it all together, until it falls apart. These problems are very real and very close. 

The solution? Early intervention - because the best way to solve a problem is to prevent it from happening.
