The Videographer plays a key part in sharing the story of A.K. Rikk’s. They will work to highlight not just what we sell, but also who we are as a company. The Videographer, working together with the marketing department, will plan and execute all video content to be shared by A.K. Rikk’s.

-Calm under pressure, can excel in fast-paced project timeframes, re-adjustment of priorities, and just-in-time assignments
-Able to manage multiple projects and must be able to meet project deadlines
-Excellent and proven range of digital video production and post-production skills
-Hands on knowledge of all equipment (cameras, lighting, audio) and technologies (HDR, VR, compression formats) in a video
production environment. Still Photography experience is a bonus.
-Advanced knowledge of video production software
-Driven to research and remain current on the developments of state of the art video production technology and how to apply them to
-Able to produce emotionally-driven videos with a strong emphasis on storytelling
-Communicate effectively with individuals and groups
-Able to actively participate in giving/receiving constructive feedback during creative presentations and design reviews
Create video assets to generate interest and excitement about A.K. Rikk’s that create memorable and lasting impressions.
-Follow the marketing process and participate in marketing brainstorming, strategy approval, and action meetings including:
Storyboard and pitch ideas for video projects to Marketing team to determine which concepts to move forward with.
-Creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective visual form
-Plan and produce videos from concept to finished product
-Interviewing and recording people in a range of different circumstances
-Troubleshoot video product complications and research solutions and make technical decisions
-Perform post production work,
such as color grading and audio adjustment
-Post videos to relevant channels, including but not limited to: YouTube, Website, Facebook, Instagram, Blogs, TV Wall, Email, etc.
-Split photography work with other Marketing members – it is your responsibility to capture 50% of photos for Social Media posts,
Blogs, Events, Web, Email, and Advertising – this will be assigned in monthly meetings
-Take all FB Lives and Daily Stories for Social Media use
-Reporting on video performance submitted at the end of each month
-Film AK Rikk’s events on weekends and week nights
-Responsibilities may be added and eliminated as needed.
