Oh the holidays. If you're like us, you've had too many treats and exhausted your wallets by now. Don't worry! The craziness is just about over! Whether your relatives are staying with you for a few extra days OR you have the weekend off before going back to work after the new year, (lucky you!) here are some of our suggestions (other than visiting us of course) to sensibly enjoy your weekend! Movies: The Wolf of Wall Street: NOW PLAYING - R Mr. Martin Scorsese is notorious for his famously cast characters and high production value films. If you want to take a break from family filtering and "genuine" holiday cheer, go see this movie. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug : NOW PLAYING - PG13 The second of three films in the adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's popular book, The Hobbit. If you still haven't seen this, you'll be able to safely go now without getting a seat in the very front row. Escape real life and engage in this thrilling adventure with Bilbo Baggins and friends. Frozen: NOW PLAYING - PG The ultimate family movie this season is Disney's Frozen. With witty characters and strategic humor that satisfies even the adults this one is perfect to bring the whole gang to! Outside: Pick up a sled from your corner store and hit the biggest hill in your neighborhood! The steeper the hill, the more fun and thrill! Complete this activity by bringing a thermos of hot cocoa or make it interesting with a little leftover Baileys or Rum Chata! Whatever your taste, this fun calls for lots of great photos! Finally a classic but always a goodie, build a snowman with your loved ones in your front yard! We had a blast doing this! Great fun had by all! Whatever your weekend plans are, have a safe and fun one!
