So we have a new shoe line for women's and it's pretty dang cute and pretty dang girly. Loeffler Randall shoes are feminine, classic, but absolutely not boring. They have a splash of spunk that makes them exciting and different from your basics.
Here's the 101 about Loeffler Randall:
Jessie Randall launched the Loeffler Randall shoe line in the fall of 2005. Frustrated that she couldn't find the shoes she wanted to wear ("shoes that possessed an understated elegance, well-made, and feminine"), she decided to start her own line with her hubby Brian Murphy. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! An it-girl herself, Jessie intrinsically knows what the fashionistas are looking for. Two years later, in 2007, she received the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design while incredibly pregnant with twins. Two weeks later she gave birth to two bouncing baby boys.
Jessie states that being a mother has completely changed her life (duh), "So much of my life is now about being a mom," she states in an interview with the Huffington Post. "I am inspired by the things I never was before... like the color palette of one of the boys' children book." That's actually really cute.
She also states that her mother and grandmother were big inspirations for her as well. She calls her mother glamorous because she remembers her watching soap operas while painting her nails and gossiping. One of her favorite memories as a child was her mother taking her to buy party-shoes, "the fancy shoes I would never wear to all the birthday parties and holidays."
Obviously this gal loves being a gal and you can see that in her design. But the shoes are not limited to girly outfits. Pair these shoes with an edgy sweat or harem pant or even some leather pants and you've got yourself a nice mix of androgyny! Like so:
Welcome to A.K. Rikk's, Loeffler Randall!
