New to the store this week are some wrap dresses from Diane Von Furstenberg's 1974 label. The wrap dress has become a staple piece in every woman's wardrobe. The dress was first introduced into high fashion by DVF in 1974 and due to its versatile and effortless nature, the dress became a hit. Free of zippers and buttons, the wrap dress compliments a variety of female body types. During the 1980s the wrap almost drifted off the fashion map but when she saw her daughter and her friends wearing the vintage DVF wrap, she decided to bring it back. Using her archive of vintage prints, DVF continues to reintroduce the wrap into her collection and we're more than thrilled to be carrying them at A.K. Rikk's.
