Today, as part of our Behind the Seams with A.K. Rikk's series, we would like to introduce you to our Finance Specialist, Jessica Bordo! Jessica is the newest valuable addition to the A.K. Rikk's family!
What initially drew you to A.K. Rikk’s?
The amazing people that work here and the beautiful space!
What is your favorite part of working at A.K. Rikk's so far?
Everyone is so helpful and the team atmosphere.
What have you learned this week at work?
A lot of inventory, billing, vendor correspondence and payment processes.
What is your favorite brand?
Currently I’m most familiar with and like Rag & Bone because it fits in with a lot of what I tend to wear the most.
Which celebrity’s life would you like to live for 24 hours?
Kourtney Kardashian, just so I can really see what it’s like!
What’s your perfect Sunday?
Chill morning at the house with the kids, coffee at the sunroom bistro table with my husband Corey then head up to the lake mid-day followed by a casual dinner near the water.
You’re a mother of two. Do you love to dress your children up or do you have certain fashion preferences for what they wear?
Oh, I love for them to be stylin’. Zara kids, H&M and Art Class (Target) are my favorites. What did parents do before these brands?
What’s the last nice thing you bought for yourself?
A tote bag for my laptop and travel.
What is something that you learned about yourself this year?
My everyday mantra truly is YOLO… or Carpe Diem. I’m always trying to find the silver lining. It helps to bring me a better perspective and keep the positivity going.
Favorite indulgence?
Spa days and massages.
