Your search for the perfect game day recipe is over! No matter what team you're rooting for this year, this snack is sure to be a touchdown at your party! Data Manager David Wiers and EOS Specialist Zachary Claflin teamed up to make their signature guacamole for the big game this weekend! We wrote down their secret ingredients and a step by step instructions on how to make it!
What You'll Need:
3 Haas Avocados
1 Jar of Kosher Salt
1 Jar of Ground Cumin
1 Jar of Ground Cayenne Pepper
1 White Onion
2 Jalepeno Peppers
2 Roma Tomatoes
1 Clove of Fresh Garlic
Medium Sized Bowl
Gather your ingredients and a medium sized bowl. You will want to begin by cutting the avocados in half lengthwise. Remove the pit, then proceed to scoop the inside of the avocado into your bowl. Using a fork, gently mash the avocado in the bowl until it has reached a thick consistency.
Next, begin dicing your cilantro, tomatoes, onion, garlic and jalepenos to your desired thickness. Once that is complete, fold in the diced vegetables using a spoon. If you want to give your guacamole an extra kick, add another whole jalepeno diced or use the jalepeno seeds.
Time to add the seasonings! Add salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Squeeze lime juice over mixture.
Cover your guacamole, and put it in the fridge for at least one hour. This allows for the flavors to blend together!
Remove from the fridge and serve with your favorite tortilla chips!
Bring this to your game day party to make everyone winners! Need help with what to wear to your Game Day party? Whether you're an Eagles or Patriots fan we've got you covered!
