Tonne Goodman, a native to New York, first got her start in fashion as a model and her love for the industry ignited. Her portfolio includes time with Diana Vreeland at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Times Magazine where she worked with Carrie Donovan, to a stylist with LIFE magazine and various commercial clients. She created iconic imagery as the Vice President of advertising for Calvin Klein in the late 80's. She also spent time working alongside Liz Tilberis at Harper’s Bazaar and Anna Wintour and was American Vogue’s fashion director from 1999 until 2018. For the past two decades, Tonne Goodman has traveled the world for Vogue and now serves as a contributing editor for which she has curated more than 150 covers over the years, creating images that define eras.

Tonne Goodman’s book “Point of View” touches on her illustrious 4 decade long career in which the worlds of celebrity and style collide. Chronologically, this book begins the same way Goodman’s career did; starting with her modeling days, to her freelance fashion work, to her time in editorial and advertising, Ultimately following her path to her reign at Vogue. Whether you are an aspiring fashion industry professional or simply a fashion enthusiast or have a loved one who is, Tonne Goodman's "Point of View" is a must have coffee table book and fashion inspiration resource!
