Today, as part of our Behind the Seams with A.K. Rikk's series, we would like to introduce you to Operations Assistant, Brady! He’s our man when it comes to shipping items out to happy customers and delivering to our local fans. One of the newer faces at the store, Brady has a long history with A.K. Rikk’s, going back to when he was a kid. 

What initially drew you to A.K. Rikk's?

Ever since I was about 12 years old I've been coming by A.K. Rikk's and have always loved the environment. Everytime I walk into the store it's a completely different atmosphere to anywhere else I've been so naturally this always made me think it would be such a special place to work.

What is your favorite part of working at A.K. Rikk's so far?

One of the many great things I find about working at A.K. Rikk's is that there’s such a great team of people to work with. No matter what it may be that I need help with, whether it be finding a product, or how to go about handling an issue, I can rely on anyone in the store to lend a hand without hesitation.

What is your favorite brand?

My favorite brand in the store also happens to be the first brand I ever bought in A.K. Rikk's: Stone Island. The brand has such unique color palettes and designs every season that always catch my eye.

Favorite season to dress for? Why?

Winter has to be my favorite season to dress for. I love to wear outerwear like sweatshirts, jackets and sweaters which are very easy to wear during the winter months. It's also much easier to put more layers on when I'm cold.

What superhuman power would you choose?

Teleportation is by far the most interesting super power to me. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and being able to do so at the snap of my fingers would be mind-blowing.
